An international real estate management business is seeking a Senior IT Manager. This role will be instrumental in developing, sourcing, and maintaining IT solutions tailored to meet the strategic needs of the business. The successful candidate will ensure optimal daily operational support, lead technology upgrades, and manage a samll IT team to drive efficiency and compliance across all systems and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor an IT team, overseeing the development, implementation, and monitoring of server hardware, software applications, and operating systems. Ensure performance metrics are met and optimised
- Develop, source, and maintain advanced software and web solutions that align with the operational needs. Ensure these solutions integrate seamlessly with existing systems
- Evaluate technology related risks and design comprehensive disaster recovery plans and backup procedures to safeguard business operations
- Lead the team to provide regular system support to ensure smooth business operations, addressing issues promptly to minimise downtime
- Conduct rigorous testing, troubleshooting, and modifications of hardware and software systems to ensure they function efficiently
- Manage the coordination, installation, upgrades, and maintenance of technology across the organisation
- Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure effective implementation and operation of business applications
- Oversee vendor and service contracts, including negotiations, renewals, and performance monitoring to ensure service quality and cost effectiveness
- Supervise the IT team to ensure all activities are compliant with relevant laws, codes, and regulations. Maintain proper licensing and documentation for all systems
- Oversee the annual IT budget, ensuring expenses are justified and align with the organisation’s financial objectives
- Formulate IT policies and service standards to maintain legal compliance and operational excellence
- Perform additional ITrelated tasks as required to support evolving business needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, Computer Science, or other relevant disciplines
- 10 years' experience or above in IT operations, application development, project implementation
- Experience working in fast-paced Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience preparing process and requirement documentation
- Proven experience dealing with multiple projects of work and effective prioritisation
- Excellent command of English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
