Assistant Manager - SAP Basis

Our reputable client is seeking candidates with experience in SAP Basis via SAP S/4HANA.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform core SAP Basis administrator functions including software installation, setup, enhancement pack; support pack installation and upgrade, performance monitoring, tuning and capacity management to utilise enterprise standards and leverage best operation practices
  • Administrate the SAP HANA system include database, Suse Linux OS and VMware VCenter
  • Administrate the SAP ECC system include SQL database, Windows server
  • Perform configuration of Solution Manager to monitor and administer the SAP System
  • Provide daily support to functional teams and End-Users with any technical and performance problems
  • Work with SAP via OSS & Solution Manager to technical resolve problems
  • Support Disaster Recovery, DR Test and SAP cloud platform
  • Responsible for Project Implementation
  • Prepare and maintain IT documentation, including policy and guideline

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • Minimum 5 years working experience with at least 3 years proven experience on SAP basis administration
  • Knowledge of SAP HANA database and SAP Solution Manager
  • Knowledge in SUSE Linux operating system and VMware vCenter
  • Knowledge in Windows server and SQL database
  • Capable to work independently under pressure
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with strong team spirit
  • Good command of both written and spoken English as well as Mandarin will be an advantage
