Business Analyst – Front office/ Middle office (project base)

Act as a business analyst to work between business and tech, familiar with investment product / front office operation.

Job duties:

  • Collaborate and Analyze: Work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to pinpoint business requirements through comprehensive business analysis. Create detailed user stories and workflow diagrams, and propose enhancements to existing processes and systems to meet these needs effectively.
  • Change Management Coordination: Oversee change management initiatives, encompassing everything from scheduling and planning to engaging relevant stakeholders. Ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption during changes.
  • Progress Tracking and Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of project progress, including documentation of milestones achieved, challenges encountered, and lessons learned. Regularly update and distribute status reports to keep all parties informed.
  • Project Support Services: Offer strategic support to the Project Manager, assisting in activity planning, resource allocation, and governance oversight. Generate and compile management reports, consolidate project progress, and prepare status updates to facilitate decision-making.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Internal Standards: Uphold adherence to external regulatory mandates, internal control frameworks, and the organization's compliance policies. Stay abreast of industry regulations and ensure that all projects align with these standards.
  • Business Systems Proficiency: Acquire an in-depth knowledge of the company's business systems. Understand how these systems operate, their functionalities, and how they contribute to achieving organizational goals.


  • A university degree in business, finance, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of business analyst experience, preferably in banking
  • Domain knowledge in investment product , front office & middle office operation is a plus
  • Strong sense of numbers and product analysis skills
  • Experience with Agile development practices is a plus.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills, with Chinese (including Putonghua) being an advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, able to work under pressure, and deadline-driven.
  • Short notice is preferred
