Senior Product Vision Designer (Tier One Global Bank) - $100k

A leading global financial institution is seeking a Senior Usability Designer to join its Hong Kong-based product team on a contract through the end of 2026.

This opportunity offers the chance to shape intuitive digital experiences within a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment, partnering closely with Product Management and AI teams. You will play a key role in driving user-centred, data-driven design solutions that enhance both user satisfaction and business outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

You will lead end-to-end usability and interaction design initiatives, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver intuitive, scalable solutions that align user needs with strategic business goals.

• Partner with Product Managers and AI leads to shape product strategy, roadmap, and delivery priorities while balancing user and business needs
• Lead the end-to-end design process, including user research, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and developer handoff
• Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations to continuously validate and refine design decisions
• Leverage analytics, user feedback, and performance data to identify pain points and improve overall user experience outcomes
• Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes in Figma to communicate ideas and accelerate stakeholder alignment
• Maintain and enhance scalable design systems that support consistency, accessibility, and seamless digital experiences
• Collaborate closely with AI engineering, product, and business teams to deliver user-centric and technically feasible solutions on schedule
• Translate complex requirements into intuitive, high-quality experiences through continuous iteration and cross-functional collaboration

Candidate profile:

You bring extensive experience in usability and interaction design within digital product environments, combining strategic thinking with strong visual and problem-solving capabilities.

• 5+ years of experience in product, interaction, or usability design within digital product environments
• Strong portfolio showcasing user-centred design, strategic problem-solving, and high-quality visual design execution
• Proven ability to align design decisions with business outcomes such as conversion, retention, and user engagement
• Advanced proficiency in Figma or similar prototyping and interaction design tools
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present and influence effectively
• Experience designing complex workflows, scalable systems, or data-intensive interfaces
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative product development environments
• Exposure to AI-assisted design tools, rapid prototyping approaches, and continuous improvement through research, testing, and iteration
