A Leading Hong Kong organisation seeks IT Trade Floor Support Analyst – Banking (Contract) to deliver real-time trader support, resolve critical system issues, and ensure seamless trading operations in a fast-paced contract role offering training growth.

Key responsibilities:

As an IT Trade Floor Support Analyst – Banking (Contract), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring uninterrupted trading operations by delivering responsive IT support and maintaining mission-critical systems.

• Deliver real-time IT support to traders, bankers, and operations teams, ensuring minimal disruption to trading activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, trading applications, market data, and order management system issues
• Monitor system performance, manage incident escalation with global IT, infrastructure, application, and vendor teams, ensuring SLA compliance
• Support system upgrades, patching, deployment of new trade floor tools, and maintain accurate incident and change documentation
• Ensure cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and proactively improve system reliability, stability, and end-user experience

Candidate profile:

To succeed in this role, you should have proven experience in IT support within financial services or trading environments, combined with strong technical expertise and excellent interpersonal skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required
• 2–5 years of IT support experience within financial services or trading environments, candidate with less IT experience will consider
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Linux platforms, and networking fundamentals
• Familiarity with trading platforms such as Bloomberg, Reuters, FIX protocol, OMS/EMS systems
• Proficiency in English; Cantonese/Mandarin is an advantage for regional support
