• Design and implement server-side Java applications using modern streaming middleware technologies like Apache Flink, Kafka, and Apache Ignite
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment and post-release support
• Advocate for best practices such as test-driven development and delivery automation using tools like Jira, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and Jenkins

Candidate profile:

To excel as a Senior Front Office Java Developer, your background should demonstrate significant experience delivering sophisticated server-side applications within demanding environments—ideally involving real-time trading systems.

• Proven experience in building sophisticated server-side Java applications in demanding environments
• Advanced proficiency in Java 17 or higher and streaming middleware technologies such as Apache Flink, Kafka, and Apache Ignite
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent with strong background in delivering large-scale greenfield projects with significant design input
• Familiarity with SDLC tools (e.g., Jira, Bitbucket) and commitment to test-driven development methodologies
