Application Support / Production Support - Investment

Join the Global Market Sales & Research application production support team, responsible for functional and technical support of the Cash Equity Sales & Research business, dealing with vendor and Global in-house Research and Client Management systems. The role involves production support and BA, support internal clients, troubleshoot, and diagnose functional and technical issues in the production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide functional and technical support for the Research Website, CRM, and Research workflow & distribution systems.
• Collaborate with vendor and global development teams to deliver functional and technical requirements.
• Conduct Quality Assurance Testing and assist in User Acceptance Testing.
• Analyze business needs and offer solutions while assisting in project rollouts.
• Manage and track daily production issues and user requests, ensuring effective and timely resolutions.
• Maintain system availability through proactive monitoring and performance checks.
• Coordinate with IT Security and Infrastructure teams for platform maintenance.
• Follow ITIL Application Support methodologies for incident and change management.
• Participate in a support roster, including shift duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Degree in IT/Computer Science with 5+ years of experience in software development and support.
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin.
• Familiarity with web-based applications, web analytics, and data security.
• (OS) Windows, Linux (DB) Oracle, SQL; Powershell, VBA, html/javascript, JAVA
• Good to have – Python, C#, Apache
• Exposure to system monitoring tools like Dynatrace and Geneos.
• Strong problem-solving skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
