Cloud Engineer Manager - AWS/Azure - Insurance

The cloud engineer manager will responsible for cloud migration and DevOps transformation across a large enterprise. The role combines technical expertise with significant management responsibilities, overseeing the migration of large scale applications while leading substantial teams of contractors and IT professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cloud migration strategy across systems
• Serve as technical authority for security-focused DevOps practices across business units, providing expertise and guidance to IT teams
• Lead technical development initiatives, selecting optimal solutions for building secure continuous integration and delivery pipelines
• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines across Centers of Excellence and agency environments
• Architect application release lifecycles spanning development, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and production environments
• Analyze current deployment processes across LBUs, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to accelerate software delivery
• Drive system reliability enhancements by eliminating single points of failure
• Develop and execute cloud deployment strategies including rolling updates, blue-green deployments, A/B testing, and route-based deployments
• Supervise Cloud Business-as-Usual Team operations and application deployment support

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of IT experience
• Advanced degree in related field
• Expert-level software architecture and programming capabilities
• Strong analytical and change leadership skills
• Proven track record in managing regional front-end systems, preferably with Asian markets experience
• Cloud technology expertise (AWS/Azure)
• Experience with multi-lingual solution implementation
