My client is looking for a candidate to assist in the planning, development, and maintenance of systems and databases.

Responsibilities

  • Support system/database planning, development, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and automated processes for optimal system/database performance.
  • Provide day-to-day operational support for application platforms/databases.
  • Monitor and tune system/database performance.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance system/database performance.
  • Participate in system integration development, testing, deployment, documentation, training, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of relevant experience in database and application system support; Fresh graduates may be considered for a junior position.
  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL/Oracle database administration is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently with a strong analytical mindset.
