As a Technical Support for Trading Floors, you will provide technical support for trading floors, with expertise in performance monitoring, backup/recovery processes, and security administration for networks, systems, and databases.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive technical support for trading floors in banking
- Oversee performance monitoring, backup and recovery, and security administration for networks, systems, and databases
- Maintain and troubleshoot critical trading software applications like Bloomberg, Reuters, and Murex
- Coordinate effectively between users and IT departments while demonstrating strong leadership skills
- Perform routine desktop/network/system/database management functions including resource monitoring, performance optimization, fault detection, backup/recovery operations, and security administration
- Lead and mentor junior staff members to ensure optimal availability, performance, and security of trading systems (for support Lead)
Requirements:
- 3-7 years of technical support experience in banking
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in performance monitoring, backup/recovery, and security administration
- Expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting complex trading software applications
- Leadership abilities and mentoring junior staff members
- Excellent coordination and liaison skills between users and IT teams
