Trading Systems Application Support (HKD$700-HKD$850K)

Our client is seeking a strong trading systems support expert to join their dynamic team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be part of a highly-skilled, technical, and business-facing team that provides trading technology services across the region. About the job:

Your primary role will be to ensure the stability, control, and continuous improvement of the core trading platform. You will work closely with development, product, and business users to deliver top-notch trading solutions. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be crucial in diagnosing and defining problems. Your thirst for learning about technology and its application in trading will be well-satisfied in this role.

What you'll do:

• Investigate and resolve issues methodically with a sense of urgency and high-level professionalism
• Understand financial markets, technology, trading applications and the trade lifecycle in depth
• Work collaboratively with regional and global teams as needed across trading, technology, risk and compliance
• Monitor, analyze and maintain the health of the core trading platform
• Hands-on deployment of trading applications preparation, execution and verification
• Generate reports on system performance and upon business requirements

What you'll bring:

• The ideal candidate for the Trading Support Analyst position brings a wealth of relevant experience to the table. With at least 2 years' experience working as a Trading System Analyst in global financial services
• You are technically hands on with supporting Unix platform and experienced in Python scripting.
• Your solid understanding of cash equities market, software, and trading lifecycles sets you apart from others.
• Familiarity with FIX protocols and full stack development would give you an edge.
• Able to commit to morning shifts
