Tech Lead (Java) - Leading Banking Group

Responsibilities:

• Coach and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance, coaching, and support throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to define project requirements and translate them into technical specifications and deliverables.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java-based software applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural principles.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Drive technical innovation and excellence by staying up-to-date with the latest Java technologies, tools, and industry trends.
• Implement and enforce development processes, methodologies, and quality standards to ensure efficient and effective software delivery.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or similar role, with expertise in Java development.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks (e.g., Spring boot, Hibernate).
• In-depth knowledge of software development principles, design patterns, and architectural concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with the capability to effectively interact with stakeholders at various levels.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) is preferred.
