Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based software applications, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze software requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and quality guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to define test cases and assist in resolving any reported issues.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and programming languages, and suggest improvements to enhance the development process.
- Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Document and maintain technical specifications, system diagrams, and other relevant documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Java frameworks (e.g., Spring boot, Hibernate) and familiarity with application servers (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss).
- Experience with web development technologies such as JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
- Strong knowledge of database concepts and experience working with SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle).
- Experience in developing RESTful web services and working with APIs.
- Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) is a plus.
