Associate Data Analyst - Banking

The Role Overview: This role will be responsible for handling project activities, UAT and project rollout. This is a permanent role with a leading bank.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle project activities including requirement collection, design and analysis, coordination with users, vendors and application teams, UAT and project rollout
• Handle management, operational and administrative work in data platform areas, including procedural review & renewal, data authorization and maintenance, coordination with internal / external parties, providing solutions / issue resolution and recommendations
• Ensure data and work quality of project deliverables in BAU and projects
• Prepare documents and materials for projects, briefing, training, etc. for data platforms

Key Skills:

• Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant disciplines
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in data analysis, preferably in banking or financial institute
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT projects, including requirement collection, design, implementation, testing and rollout
• Minimum 2 years of experience in writing SQL and using data analysis tools, such as Tableau, Hyperion, Oracle Analytics, etc.
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Desirable to have experience in external vendor coordination in application development
• Desirable to have skills in writing VBA or Python
