SecOps Engineer (L3 Analyst)

A leading organisation is seeking a SecOps Engineer (L3 Analyst) to join their international Infrastructure team acting as the highest technical escalation point for security incidents and driving continuous improvements in cybersecurity practices.

Key responsibilities:

As a Security Operations Engineer Level 3 Analyst, you will play an integral part in ensuring the operational security of an expansive global IT environment.

• Provide Level 3 support for security incidents, threat investigations, and escalations from MSSP teams
• Review phishing alerts and analyse security threats to support effective incident response
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and drive remediation across global infrastructure environments
• Maintain operational security for endpoints, on-premise servers, cloud platforms, and worldwide sites
• Enhance and optimise security tools to strengthen protection and align with evolving business needs
• Support deployment of new security technologies across servers, endpoints, and cloud services
• Work within a Microsoft-centric security ecosystem leveraging Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM/SOAR), Microsoft Defender E5 (EDR/XDR), dedicated vulnerability scanning tools, and logs from firewalls and cloud proxies, supported by Azure cloud infrastructure with CNAPP-based security controls

Candidate profile:

To excel as a Security Operations Engineer Level 3 Analyst, you will bring substantial hands-on experience from previous roles focused on information security or SecOps within complex organisations.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in information security or Security Operations (SecOps)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline
• Strong autonomy with excellent communication skills, able to collaborate effectively within a distributed, remotely managed team
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft Security (SC-200, AZ-500) are a plus
