Deputy Head of Cyber Security - HKD$1.4M

My well-respected client is seeking a Deputy Head of Cyber Security to formulate cybersecurity strategies and goals, establish programs, and create frameworks to assess and improve the cybersecurity program's maturity. If you are eager to step up before the end of the year, let's chat!

What you'll do:

• Leading a sizeable team in Hong Kong to oversee 1.5LOD security defense
• Formulate overall Cyber Security Management strategies and goals, establishing both annual and long-term programs.
• Develop and manage a framework to evaluate cybersecurity program maturity and create a roadmap for continuous improvement.
• Define and implement cybersecurity control requirements, including policies, procedures, and standards.
• Establish a holistic management system for stakeholder security governance and strategic objectives, ensuring compliance with regulatory and management requirements.
• Analyze key monitoring indicators to report on the effectiveness of cybersecurity controls.
• Present regular updates on cybersecurity posture to senior management and committees.
• Identify and resolve management issues, optimize processes for operational efficiency.

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Cyber Security Management, Cyber Security Operations or Technology Risk Management
• Strong customer focus with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding and application of the best practices of cybersecurity management system methodology;
• Proficiency in preparing management dashboard / reporting deck and reports in Chinese is definitely an advantage
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
