AI Solutions Engineer

An exciting opportunity is available for an AI Solutions Engineer to join a leading hedge fund in Central, Hong Kong. This permanent role focuses on developing scalable Generative AI solutions in a collaborative, inclusive environment, and strong professional support.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will design, deploy, and optimise secure, scalable GenAI and agentic solutions while collaborating closely with investment and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact outcomes.

• Design and implement end-to-end Generative AI workflows using RAG techniques and intelligent agents to solve complex business challenges
• Build next-generation code agent systems to enhance automation and operational efficiency
• Develop evaluation frameworks to benchmark third-party AI tools across multiple use cases
• Rapidly deploy secure, scalable AI/LLM infrastructure on cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, and Databricks
• Collaborate with investment professionals and business teams within a supportive team environment to identify high-value AI use cases

Candidate profile

You will bring strong hands-on experience in AI engineering, cloud-based deployment, and collaborative problem-solving, with a passion for continuous learning and innovation.

• 4 to 8 years of relevant professional experience
• Background in Hedge Fund, Asset Management, or FinTech environments preferred
• Strong understanding of the AI landscape, including Transformer architectures, agentic workflows, and prompt/context engineering
• Hands-on experience delivering production-ready AI solutions
• Mandarin language skills are an advantage
