Data Engineer, Cloud (Azure Databricks, 3 years+)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our client. You will play a key part in building and optimizing a scalable cloud-based data platform on Microsoft Azure (incl. Databricks) to improve data consistency, reliability, and accessibility across the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

• Enhance and operate the cloud-based data platform on Microsoft Azure (Databricks).
• Collaborate with external vendors throughout the project lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment, documentation).
• Work with Data Analysts to prepare, clean, model data, and create Power BI visualizations.
• Perform proof-of-concept testing for cloud data products.
• Create automation scripts and operational playbooks for efficient deployment and troubleshooting.

Requirments:

• • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or related field.
  • Certification in Any Cloud Data Platforms is a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in scalable data platform implementation or migration projects.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, Azure Data Factory, Event Hub/Kafka/Event Messaging, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Databricks, Unity Catalog, Power BI.
