VP/AVP, Gen-AI Project, Banking -100k

My client looking for an experienced AI/ML Program Manager to lead and oversee multiple projects within AI/ML initiatives under banking side.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to define project goals, scope, and timelines.
• Oversee and coordinate multiple related projects to ensure alignment with organizational objectives while ensuring efficient and effective completion.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver AI/ML program objectives on time and within budget.
• Develop and manage program plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring alignment across individual projects.
• Ensure that related data assets and models are discoverable and reusable for multiple projects.
• Track program progress and performance metrics, identifying and addressing potential roadblocks.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as standup meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives effectively.
• Manage resource allocation and utilization across program projects.
• Ensure projects meet quality standards and contribute to overall program goals.
• Support risk management activities for the program by proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in AI & Data development with a track record of successfully delivering AI projects. Experience with MLOps is a plus.
• Technical Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Presentation Skills: Effectively present project updates and results to leadership and team members.
• Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration and inclusivity within the AI/ML team while actively participating in knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Agile Expertise: Experience working successfully within agile development teams; familiarity with Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives is essential.
• Language Proficiency: Strong command of both written and spoken English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous but not required.
