Data Analyst - Power BI (Investment background)

Looking for an experienced senior data analyst on behalf of our client, a leading investment company, to focus on data analytics & visualizations

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI and related tools
• Build interactive reporting features to enhance usability and insight delivery
• Work with business teams to understand reporting requirements and timelines
• Ensure data accuracy through validation processes across various data sources
• Streamline reporting workflows and automate repetitive tasks
• Maintain consistency in performance metrics and reporting standards
• Continuously improve reporting tools by incorporating new features and design enhancements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Business, Computer Science, or Data Analytics
• 5–8 years of experience in data reporting, business intelligence, or financial analysis
• Proficiency in:
  • Power BI (including DAX, PowerQuery, and data modeling)
  • SQL and relational database concepts
  • Microsoft Excel
• Experience developing reports from scratch and deploying via reporting platforms
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team environment
