Data Architect - Insurance (prefer with investment knowledge)

Our client is a leading insurance company who is seeking a highly skilled data delivery lead.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance data warehouse solutions and reporting platforms, ensuring robust data integration across middleware systems and interfaces.
• Design and optimize Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes using Azure data services and Databricks to support efficient data processing and analytics.
• Collaborate closely with business users, data engineers, and technology teams to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure effective communication across stakeholders.
• Design and implement scalable data models that support analytical and business intelligence requirements.
• Develop insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI to support business intelligence and strategic decision-making.
• Leverage Microsoft Azure cloud services for data storage, processing, and analytics, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
• Apply investment domain knowledge to contextualize data solutions; CFA Foundation or Level 1 certification is considered a strong advantage.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and coordinate across multiple functions.
• Strong hands-on experience in data warehouse architecture and reporting platform development, including middleware and integration components.
• Proficient in Azure cloud technologies, ETL processes, Databricks, and Power BI.
• Solid data modeling skills for both relational and dimensional models.
• Knowledge of the investment domain; CFA Foundation or CFA Level 1 certification is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
