Senior Data Engineer /AM - Azure, F&B - 60k

My client is looking for a Data Engineer to lead data transformation initiatives in the cloud, design data pipelines and build scalable solutions across the APAC region.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute data migration to cloud platforms.
  • Create and deliver data pipelines and Azure Data Factory flows
  • Ingest data into Azure Data Lake and build data models for large datasets.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements for data transformation
  • Establish strong relationships within the technology and business teams.
  • Implement data engineering best practices and support data governance.
  • Work with global and local analytics teams and mentor individuals interested in data and analytics in the APAC region.

Qualification

  • Proficiency in SQL; familiarity with Python or R.
  • Experience with Data Bricks/Data Lakes and ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of core enterprise solutions (e.g., Oracle Symphony, SAP).
  • Experience with SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL (On-prem/Cloud).
  • Understanding of statistics for data interpretation.
  • Exposure to large data systems (4 billion+ records, terabyte databases).
  • Experience in continuous integration environments and NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, Neptune).
