BI Specialist - Tableau

Our client is a reputable company with long history in HK and they are seeking a talented BI specialist to join their data team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and interactive visualizations based on business requirements.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and validation in visual reports.
  • Analyze KPIs and metrics, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Work with data engineers to improve data accessibility and optimize reporting pipelines.
  • Enhance Tableau performance for better user experience.
  • Provide training and support for business users on Tableau.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data visualization.
  • Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth UAT and rollout.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in BI, data visualization, or analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in Tableau (calculations, parameters, data blending).
  • Knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and querying.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Alteryx, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Google BigQuery.
  • Familiarity with other visualization tools (Power BI, QlikView, etc.).
