ETL Engineer - Insurance (60k)

This role will manage ETL pipelines, and monitor data quality, and BAU support for data changes.

Key Duties:

• Design and Implementation: Develop, document, and implement comprehensive data pipelines and integration processes, including both batch and real-time workflows. This involves data analysis, profiling, cleansing, lineage tracking, mapping, and transformation, as well as the development and deployment of ETL/ELT jobs and workflows.
• Data Quality and Optimization: Monitor, assess, and enhance data quality by improving reliability, efficiency, and cleanliness. Identify and implement optimizations to streamline ETL/ELT processes for better performance.
• Best Practices and Standards: Recommend and enforce best practices in data management and lifecycle processes. This includes modular ETL/ELT development, adherence to coding and configuration standards, error handling and notification protocols, auditing guidelines, and data archival procedures.
• Testing and Validation: Prepare test data and assist in the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with Data Architects, Data Modelers, IT teams, subject matter experts (SMEs), vendors, and internal business stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement solutions that align with business objectives.
• Business-As-Usual (BAU) Support: Provide ongoing support for data-related issues and change requests. Document investigations, findings, recommendations, and resolutions to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.
