ETL developer (CRM, data migration)

This role will focus on developing data migration scripts on ETL pipelines, work on Salesforce system.

Responsibilities:

  • Create data migration scripts using an ETL migration methodology
  • Support formulating a testing strategy and test cases, and conduct data migration testing
  • Support team leaders in data profiling, data mapping, and documenting data migration and reconciliation processes
  • Collaborate with source system and target system teams (including Salesforce and other third-party vendor solutions) for the implementation, testing, and execution of data migration
  • Enhance existing legacy systems to facilitate user operations on migrated profiles

Requirements:

  • Possession of a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in system development
  • Preferred experience in data migration and system cut-over, particularly in CRM and billing systems within the Telecommunications industry
  • Knowledge of data migration and reconciliation is advantageous
  • Proficiency in any of the following skills: mainframe IDMS, Cobol, Oracle BRM, SQL/PLSQL, Java, Salesforce, and Telecom experience will be beneficial
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude, quick learning ability, energy, and the capacity to excel in challenging environments
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • Fluency in Mandarin and the ability to comprehend technical specifications in Chinese will be advantageous
