Data Engineer (MNC)

My MNC client is looking for a Data Engineer with strong Python experience to join their expending team

Responsibilities:

• Developing new applications using existing data sets to create new products or improve existing services.
• Build data models & ETL pipelines for getting, processing, and delivering data.
• Maintaining existing applications by updating existing code or adding new features to meet new requirements.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, comprising data analysts, data scientists, and IT professionals.
• Partner with business teams and stakeholders across the analytic needs and design/publish dashboards and reporting that allow them to execute more effectively
• Automate data processes; simplify and democratize access to useable data throughout the company
• Ensuring the quality, integrity, and security of data throughout the entire data lifecycle

Requ

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in data/ data engineering.
• Profound understanding of database concepts and data modelling principles.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages, especially Python and Spark.
• Expert knowledge in database technologies, which means excellent in SQL a good understanding of trade-offs in building data models
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure will be a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
