Data Solutions Architect - Cloud Vendor

A reputable client is looking for a data solution architect with strong communication background.

• Designs and presents solutions for Big Data & AI projects to clients. Cultivates and expands relationships with client architects, senior technical decision-makers, and business stakeholders.
• Applies and promotes reference architecture approaches to clients and partners. Develops scalable solutions that demonstrate the business case and presents alternative scenarios.
• Analyzes and understands the unique requirements of clients and partners, offering suitable data solutions and architecture designs based on cloud services.
• Assists clients and partners in migrating their existing Data Analytics systems to cloud platforms, providing expertise in migration techniques for both data platforms and applications.
• Serves as the liaison between clients/partners and internal teams, conveying feedback, identifying gaps and blockers, and providing insights to shape products and services across different regions.

Job requirements:

• Background in IT, computer science, and/or cloud computing with a solid understanding of Big Data & AI technology.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Architecture design and consulting, with a strong grasp of customer needs and requirements. International work or study experience is preferred.
• Expertise in Data Architecture design and familiarity with Big Data products and/or open-source technologies like Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Flink, Kafka, etc.
• Background and experience in AI/ML technologies.
• Previous experience in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting roles.
• Excellent presentation and whiteboarding skills, with the ability to express architectures using text and diagrams.
• Capable of working under pressure, quick to learn, and passionate about cloud technology. Strategic thinking regarding businesses, products, and technical challenges.
• Good communication skills, a team player, and a professional work attitude.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, with fluency in Cantonese as a strong advantage.
