Senior / Data Manager - Banking (5-8 years)

This role will implement diverse data platform architecture, conduct system analysis and development, design self-service analytic solutions, establish frameworks and standards, and troubleshoot technical issues collaboratively.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing data governance within the data platform, covering management of data requirements, ingestion, and authorization.
• Deploy data platform architectures, integrating big data, NoSQL, streaming, and AI applications to offer data services to banking systems and users.
• Create and deploy in-house self-service analytic solutions.
• Establish frameworks, development standards, enterprise data models, and implement DEVOPS tools and methodologies for data platforms.
• Address and troubleshoot issues, provide recommendations, and collaborate with developers and external parties to resolve technical challenges.

Requirements:

• Hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Possess a minimum of 8 years of application development experience, preferably in enterprise data warehousing and big data/AI projects, with solid project management skills.
• Proficiency in data warehouse technologies like SQL, DB2, DataStage ETL, and data reporting tools like Tableau.
• Knowledgeable in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka Streaming, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Neo4J.
• Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, interpersonal, and communication skills, along with team-building capabilities.
• Fluency in Cantonese and English required, proficiency in Mandarin desired.
