Solution Architect - Cloud - AWS

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement enterprise-wide cloud solutions using AWS services and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Define architectural standards and best practices for cloud adoption and containerization strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure solutions aligned with business goals.
• Deploy microservices-based applications on Kubernetes clusters with high availability and resilience.
• Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and automation for streamlined operations.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to continuously innovate and improve platforms.
• Provide technical mentorship on AWS and Kubernetes best practices.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop architectural documentation, roadmaps, and governance models.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Cloud Platforms: Expertise in AWS services like EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation/Terraform.
• Container Orchestration: Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, deployment, scaling, security, Helm, Operators, and service meshes (e.g., Istio).
• Microservices: Proven experience in designing microservices ecosystems, API gateways, and event-driven architectures.
• Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation for automating infrastructure.
• CI/CD & Automation: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Security: Strong understanding of cloud security best practices including IAM policies and Kubernetes RBAC.
• Communication: Exceptional ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional) or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
