Data Engineer - Databricks (Chinese Language Required)

We are seeking a motivated Data Engineer to join our enterprise client. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a scalable, Azure data platform that will revolutionize enterprise data management and analytics capabilities. The ideal candidate will play a key role in improving data consistency, reliability, and accessibility, while driving automation and efficiency across workflows.

• Design, develop, and optimize a scalable, secure, and reusable data platform on Azure leveraging Databricks.
• ETL/ELT workflows within Databricks, enforce data quality standards, and reduce manual efforts.
• Enable near real-time analytics for business intelligence, predictive modeling, and faster decision-making using Databricks’ advanced analytics features.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts to prepare, cleanse, and model data; develop visualizations and dashboards in Power BI.
• Lead proof of concept projects for new cloud data products and innovative solutions within Databricks and Azure.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
• Holding certifications in Cloud Data Platform or Databricks is highly recommended.
• Candidates with experience in consultancy or a financial background are highly recommended.
• Fluency in English and the ability to understand Cantonese is a MUST.
