This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong interpersonal skills, and has a cheerful personality. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the reception desk, coordinating internal events, handling administrative tasks, and much more

What you'll do:

As a Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment for visitors while ensuring smooth operations within the office. You will manage the reception desk, greeting clients and visitors with your cheerful personality. Your responsibilities will also include planning and organising meeting room reservations, handling new joiner and leaver workflows, coordinating internal events' catering and setup arrangements. You will also attend to Workplace' Help Desk requests daily, handle all business cards, office supplies, corporate printing needs. Additionally, you will perform other administrative tasks as required.

  • Manage reception desk and maintain security awareness in the reception area
  • Plan and organise meeting room reservations and assist with setup for presentations
  • Handle new joiner and leaver workflow
  • Coordinate internal events’ catering and set up arrangements
  • Maintain an up-to-date staff telephone list, restaurant discount list, staff photo records and lost and found records
  • Attend to Workplace’ Help Desk and Users requests on a daily basis
  • Responsible for all business cards, office supplies, corporate printing and ad hoc external printing
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required, including annual renewal of the Bank’s Business License Registrations

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Receptionist position brings along a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field along with over five years of experience in an administrative role within the financial industry. The candidate is responsible, detail-minded, well-organised and able to work independently. The candidate must be quick to respond to changing demands and priorities. Analytical, problem-solving and customer service skills should be top-notch. A cheerful personality and strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field at a minimum
  • Over five years of working experience in a reception/administrative role in the financial industry
  • Responsible, detail-minded, well-organised, able to work independently and respond quickly to changing demands and priorities
  • Good analytical, problem solving and customer service skills
  • Cheerful personality with strong relationship and interpersonal skills
  • Resourceful, flexible, can work in a fast-moving environment independently as well as in a team environment
  • Good command of the Microsoft Office Suite software applications
