General Manager - Retail Operation

Our client is seeking a seasoned General Manager to oversee all retail operations and drive the company's growth and profitability. This role involves managing retail store locations, staff, sales, inventory, and expanding the retail footprint. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating and implementing strategic plans to drive sales, maximise profits, and achieve business targets. Candidate with less experience will also be consider as a Senior Manager.

What you'll do:

As a General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and profitability of our client's retail business. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of retail operations including managing stores, staff, sales, inventory as well as expanding the retail footprint. Your ability to formulate strategic plans that drive sales and maximise profits will be crucial in achieving business targets. You will also be tasked with analysing sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities. Collaboration with marketing teams to create effective promotional campaigns will be part of your remit. Your leadership skills will be essential in fostering a positive work culture.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in retail management
• Strong knowledge of the retail landscape in Hong Kong and strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L, budgets, capital expenditures
• Excellent leadership skills with experience leading sizeable teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Excellent Command in English, Mandarin and Chinese
