New Business Head (B2B, Mobile Devices)

Our global client is buikding a new Hong Kong–based business focused on the wholesale trading and distribution of pre-owned mobile devices and consumer electronics. This new entity will serve as our hub for growth in Asia.

Currently in search of a New Business Head to launch and scale the Hong Kong operations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-moving trading environments, values strong relationships, and knows how to run a disciplined, cash-conscious business.

Job Duties

Business & Team Leadership

  • Lead all day-to-day operations of the Hong Kong sales office
  • Recruit, build, and manage sales, operations, and support teams
  • Establish KPIs, performance standards, and operational discipline
  • Serve as the senior representative of the company in Hong Kong

Sales & Market Development

  • Drive revenue growth through direct sales and strategic partnerships
  • Manage key customer relationships and negotiate commercial terms
  • Maintain pricing discipline and margin accountability
  • Identify new market opportunities and buyer channels

Vendor, Logistics & Operations

  • Manage local vendors, sourcing partners, and logistics providers
  • Oversee inventory movement, warehousing, and shipment coordination
  • Ensure accuracy in inventory tracking and reporting

Cash Management & Controls

  • Manage and reconcile cash transactions in accordance with internal controls
  • Ensure transparency, reporting accuracy, and risk mitigation
  • Maintain audit-ready processes and financial discipline

Reporting & Governance

  • Provide regular operational and financial updates to executive leadership
  • Ensure alignment with group-level compliance and governance standards

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years in general management, sales leadership, or trading operations
  • Background in consumer electronics, mobile devices, or wholesale trading preferred
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage customer/vendor relationships
  • Strong knowledge of Hong Kong trading culture and practices
  • High integrity with experience handling cash-based transactions
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
