A leading international bank seeks a Commercial & Corporate Banking Team Lead in Hong Kong Island to drive portfolio growth, expand client relationships, and lead a high-performing team in a collaborative, high-growth environment.

Key responsibilities

As Team Lead, you will lead Commercial & Corporate Banking team to expand client relationships, drive product growth, structure and review credit facilities, and deliver prudent, ethical, and collaborative client service.

• Drive growth by deepening existing client relationships and proactively acquiring new commercial and corporate banking clients
• Identify client needs and promote tailored Commercial / Corporate Banking products and solutions
• Structure credit facilities aligned with business objectives and risk frameworks; prepare comprehensive credit proposals
• Conduct timely annual reviews of credit facilities to ensure portfolio quality, compliance, and risk control

Candidate profile

To excel in this role, you are a seasoned commercial/corporate banking leader with proven team leadership, deep credit expertise, and a track record of managing client portfolios successfully.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline
• 10+ years’ client coverage experience in commercial/corporate banking, with proven team leadership
• Strong credit expertise and commercial banking knowledge, with solid industry and client insight
• Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (spoken and written)
• Strong analytical and presentation skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
