Our client is a leading player in the interior finishes industry, with a distribution network spanning across the Asia Pacific. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to join their team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be responsible for opening and developing business relationships with new distributors, achieving sales objectives, formulating sales and marketing strategies, and leading a team of specification executives.

What you'll do:

As the Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our client's growth in Hong Kong. You will be responsible for aggressively opening and developing business relationships with new distributors, securing high-level projects through specification, and formulating sales and marketing strategies. Your ability to accurately plan and forecast sales performance will be crucial to your success in this role. Additionally, you will lead a team of specification executives, providing them with the support they need to assist architects and designers in specifying our client's products.

  • Aggressively open and develop business relationships with new distributors
  • Achieve company’s sales objectives to meet the annual sales budget
  • Secure high-level projects through specification
  • Formulate the sales and marketing strategy to penetrate and gain market share
  • Strategically manage long-term accounts
  • Accurately plan and forecast sales performance
  • Lead a team of specification executives to provide product information to architects & designers

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Sales Manager position brings a wealth of experience in sales leadership and distribution creation. With at least 8 years of experience, has honed skills in building materials, construction, and the paint industry. The chosen candidate is independent, driven by sales targets, and self-motivated. With excellent interpersonal and communication skills enable to connect effectively with people at all levels. Key skills required include distributor creation, sales, and specification.

  • Minimum experience of 8 years in sales leadership and distribution creation
  • Minimum Diploma or Degree with at least 5 years of related working experience
  • Previous sales experience in building materials, construction & paint industry preferred
  • Independent, Sales Driven & Self-Motivated
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
