RM / Senior Relationship Manager (TMT Coverage)

A leading international financial institution seeks a (Senior) Relationship Manager in Hong Kong to drive Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) corporate banking growth, managing China-based clients in a growth-focused environment.

Key responsibilities:

As a (Senior) Relationship Manager, you will manage TMT corporate banking growth by managing China-based clients, delivering tailored financial solutions, and building trusted client relationships

• Drive new business acquisition and expand the existing portfolio to meet defined KPIs
• Safeguard portfolio quality through rigorous credit assessment of China Corporate State-Owned Enterprise/ Privately Owned Enterprise (SOE/POE) clients
• Structure, prepare, and recommend credit proposals, securing approvals aligned with client needs
• Maximise client value by cross-selling a full suite of banking solutions, including treasury and wealth management

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring strong corporate banking experience with China clients, TMT sector insight, credit expertise, and exceptional relationship-building skills.

• Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; ACCA/CPA/CFA preferred
• 5–10 years of corporate banking experience covering China corporates
• Strong relationship management and communication skills
• Sales-driven with solid credit analysis expertise
• Well-organised with ECF–Credit Risk Management qualification
