Key responsibilities
As a Key Account Manager - Marine/Container/Shipping, you will drive container sales and leasing, manage key client accounts, deliver strategic campaigns, gather market insights, and foster cross-team collaboration to support business growth and lasting client relationships.
- Collaborate with the Head of Sales to develop and implement global regulations, policies, and action plans for container selling and leasing, ensuring effective execution
- Create and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve business goals, meet annual budgets, and align with corporate objectives
- Manage key accounts to meet sales targets, handle container buying/leasing inquiries, and maintain strong customer relationships
- Gather and analyse market intelligence from various channels to monitor trends, brief top management, and recommend strategic actions
- Design innovative products, develop marketing tactics for new markets, and oversee front-office staff to drive business growth while ensuring quality customer service
Candidate profile
As an ideal Key Account Manager - Marine/Container/Shipping, you should have extensive experience in shipping and container transport, combined with strong academic and project management skills, that enables you to deliver client-focused solutions, build trust-based relationships, navigate commercial and compliance matters, and provide strategic market insights across global teams.
- Strong experience in the shipping & container transport industry
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related fields
- Proven ability to develop creative, multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive results
- Strong project management skills with a metrics-driven mindset
- Proficiency in Cantonese, English, and Putonghua
