Account Executive - Logistic

A leading global organisation is seeking a dedicated Account Executive to join their dynamic team in Hong Kong. This role offers you the opportunity to work at the heart of customer account management, where your commitment to service excellence and collaborative approach will be highly valued.

What you'll do:

  • Manage daily activities for assigned customer accounts, ensuring all order entry processes are completed accurately and efficiently from allocation through delivery monitoring.
  • Serve as the primary interface for customers on a day-to-day basis, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring commitments are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Apply pricing policies and procedures with precision, guaranteeing accurate invoicing and timely financial transactions for each account.
  • Provide reliable forecast input for monthly demand planning processes, validating allocations to ensure supply meets customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with sales managers to understand rebate structures and support effective rebate management for designated accounts.
  • Work alongside the credit team to resolve any credit issues that arise during order management, ensuring smooth operations throughout the order-to-cash cycle.
  • Support select account initiatives as directed by sales managers or customer account teams, contributing to improved efficiency and profitability.
  • Execute service level expectations by understanding customer needs and communicating proactively with internal logistics teams and supply chain partners.
  • Process claims efficiently within system protocols, ensuring prompt resolution for both internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal stakeholders to facilitate successful execution against supply chain requirements.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience demonstrating your commitment to professional development within account management or related fields.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written), enabling you to interact effectively with multinational teams and diverse customers.
  • Proven interpersonal abilities that foster positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and cross-functional partners in a collaborative setting.
  • Strong analytical skills paired with problem-solving capabilities that allow you to address challenges thoughtfully while supporting business objectives.
  • General understanding of order management processing systems which enables you to manage complex workflows efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications along with robust technical skills that support data analysis, reporting, and process optimisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment where cooperation is key to achieving shared goals.
  • Experience working successfully under pressure while handling multiple tasks in environments characterised by rapid change.
  • Capacity for learning quickly on the job while adapting strategies based on evolving business needs or market conditions.
  • Commitment to integrity, trustworthiness, and ethical behaviour when managing sensitive information or resolving issues.
