Safety Supervisor - Chemical / Dangerous Goods

Our client is a large-scale consultancy and they are now looking for a supervisor for a Chemical Plant Site Project. (Perm role)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical inspection for the related site HSE work
• Identification and countermeasure of RISKs
• Evaluate the work safety and approval WORK PERMIT
• Identify NON-Safety Fact or Behaviors
• Ensure quality of inspection according to Quality System
• Maintain internal and external communication, liaison with clients or project subcontractors
• Organize related Training and/or Meeting
• Execute daily activities according to requirements of management systems (inc. Quality, HSE, ISO17020 etc.), ensure the performance aligned with management system

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Chemical Equipment or relevant disciplines
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience
• Safety certification is required
• Fully conversant with relevant inspection techniques and able to select most appropriate technique
• Able to verify and approve Non-Conformities / Corrective action and verify and establish Safety Management Plan
• Possess good level in English and Cantonese
• Good reporting skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office, especially Excel & Powerpoint etc.
