They are hiring a QS Commercial Manager (AM to SM grade) to oversee a diverse range of purchasing activities in property & construction.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparing and overseeing budget estimations, cost plans, and tender analysis documents for property projects, maintaining control over commercial and contractual aspects throughout the entire process
- Facilitate the sourcing and competitive tendering process, assessing and implementing innovative opportunities when suitable
- Conduct market research and assist business users in evaluating their procurement requirements, devising strategies for acquiring construction works, goods, and services
- Take the lead in cross-departmental tenders and procurement projects, fostering robust relationships with suppliers
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying/ Construction Engineering or related disciplines
- Around 10 years' experience in QS, client-side (developer) experience is preferred
- Membership (or qualifications) in MHKIS (or above), RICS, RQS, or equivalent
- Contract administration & QS project procurement experience
- Good command of English & Chinese
