Senior Manager/ Manager (Solar PV/ 5-day/ up to HKD 1 mil)

We are searching for a Senior Engineering Manager/ Engineering Manager for our client

Our client is a reputable engineering company, they are expanding the team and hiring for a team lead position for their Solar PV projects team

Responsibilities:

• Overall solar PV projects management to ensure the safe, timely, professional and cost-effective delivery of multiple projects in a structured manner by leading a team.
• Liaise with different parties including in monitoring multi-discipline activities, managing subcontractors or vendors for performance management, ensuring performance is in compliance and HSEQ standard
• Develop and approve method statements, ensure they are implemented and enforced during the project execution
• Resolve on the spot site technical problems and conflicts with various parties by applying in-depth engineering expertise
• Develop, enforce and promote a high standard of safety and health practices throughout all project teams

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, or relevant discipline
• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experiences in E&M projects, with solid solar PV experience is highly preferred
• Professional qualification is a plus but not a must, eg. MHKIE
• Experience in managing a team
• Sound knowledge in multi-discipline engineering projects, e.g. distributed solar, electrical systems, control and monitoring systems, building industry
• Cantonese is essential, proficient English and/ or Putonghua is preferred
