Vice President/ Senior Director (Technical Services, MEP)

We are hiring a VP for our client

Our client is a reputable hotel group

Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering and maintenance guidance to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and initiatives, including safety, security, and environmental measures
• Review and assess engineering projects and initiatives to ensure they meet company requirements (e.g. CAPEX, utility comparisons, etc.)
• Conduct site visits, audits, and performance assessments to evaluate property engineering departments, systems, and budgets, and provide recommendations for improvement
• Oversee and coordinate capital refurbishment and major projects for company-owned or managed properties, ensuring adherence to quality standards, budgets, and timelines
• Assist in due diligence and review processes for potential new properties, ensuring compliance with company standards and specifications
• Provide technical expertise and assistance in project planning, design, construction, and management, maximizing cost efficiency and meeting brand standards
• Collaborate with the development team to review and manage the addition of new properties to the company brand portfolio, ensuring efficient and high-quality project development, including design, planning, construction, and project management

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Around 15 years’ experience in engineering project management, of which 5 years in building services (hotel/ commercial complexes/ office buildings)
• Solid knowledge (/relevant qualification) in building services (fire/ safety) is a plus
• Good command of English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
