This Sustainability Manager position is a newly created role in APAC. This person is responsible to implementing strategies to create a better working environment in sustainability related.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle cost, ensuring sustainable solutions are not ruled out on price only
- Identifying opportunities for the company to deliver more sustainable solutions for our clients
- Recommending sustainable alternatives to products sourced for clients
- Mapping product life-cycles and identifying circular solutions
- Managing lifecycle analysis tools and undertaking calculations and reporting
- Presenting Sustainable Sourcing Strategy and solutions to clients
- Training and supporting Client Services Teams
Key Requirements:
- Must be fluent in English, additional languages an advantage
- >3 years’ experience in Sustainable Sourcing and >5 years’ in procurement
- Used to working across APAC region
- Expertise in product life cycle analysis
- Strong understanding of carbon reporting
- Managing complex business change projects with strong influencing/collaboration skills
