Manager - Vendor Compliance & Sustainability

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager to Senior Manager for Factory Compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing vendor compliance projects, leading training sessions, and providing actionable insights on social, environmental, and ethical issues. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of social compliance standards, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do:

• Manage Customer's Compliance programs including Social Compliance audits
• Develop and implement social supply chain capacity-building initiatives
• Regularly communicate progress on compliance initiatives to customers and senior management
• Work closely with in-country compliance teams to ensure vendor's understanding of customer requirements
• Lead training sessions for internal teams on social compliance standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify relevant social, environmental, and ethical issues

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sustainability, Environmental Science or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in vendor compliance or sustainability roles preferably within large Europe retailers
• Strong understanding of social compliance standards and environmental sustainability practices within the hard goods sector
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of managing compliance programs and driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Proficient with Microsoft Office especially in PowerPoint and Excel
