Manager - Regulatory Affairs (Beverage)

This role is a regional compliance role with coverage for Asia and North American markets outside Hong Kong and Mainland China.

As a Group Regulatory Compliance Manager in the Food & Beverage industry, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the company's products meet all necessary regulations.

Responsibilities

• Stay informed of the updated labelling requirement for Asia and North American markets.
• As a bridge beween legal parties for regulatory affairs.
• Ensure that all products, packaging, labelling, and claims are in regulatory compliance and ensure product supply continuity.
• Prepare local and overseas product labels, declaration letters, and product information to relevant departments.
• Handle import registration of related countries and FDA requirements.
• Work closely with local and overseas related regulatory authority.
• Explain and interpret impact of new food regulations to plants in ASEAN and North American markets.
• Collaborate with Nutritionist/Dietitian to maintain and develop the professional network

Duties

• Degree in Science, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or other relevant discipline.
• Minimum 10 years working experience in regulatory affairs field in food/beverage industry in ASEAN markets.
• At least 2 years experience at managerial level.
• Established network with regulators and scientist in ASEAN markets is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (preferably with English, Cantonese and Putonghua).
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Resourceful, self-motivated, highly organised with multi-tasking skills.
• A good team player with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
