Senior Procurement Manager (Indirect)

Our client is looking for passionate, experienced candidate to join their procurement department and helps to monitor, manage and improve the compliance of procurement process.

Job Responsibilities:

• As a senior manager of the central procurement team, you would need to to implement central procurement strategies and hence improve efficiency.
• Improvement in processes of tendering, supplier performance and data analysis via current e-Procurement system.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and align procurement activities with organisational goals, and to enhance supplier performance and build an excellent supplier network.
• Oversee and lead procurement activities throughout the procurement process, including procurement approach, business requirements, vendor specification, evaluation criteria, negotiation and contract preparation.
• Provide regular trainings to internal stakeholders on procurement matters, policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with established procurement policies; develop and enhance policies that are focused on value creation and improving efficiency according to business needs

Requirements:

• University graduate in Supply Chain Management, Procurement or Business Administration or related discipline. Holder of CIPS or similar professional qualification will be an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in sizable organisations with over 5 years at supervisory level.
• Solid experience of category management in marketing and branding and/or IT services.
• Solid experience in SAP Ariba e-Procurement system
• Strong sense of procurement compliance.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, and able to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Highly self-initiatives, problem-solving with strong analytical skills.
• Experience in public organisation
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
