Senior Commercial & Procurement Manager (Airlines Partnership)

An MNC cross-border trading platform is hiring a Senior Commercial & Procurement Manager to establish the logistics partnership with airlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute plans to acquire air transport capacity that meets the company’s global shipping schedule
  • Build and nurture effective partnerships with international airlines and freight forwarding companies
  • Work alongside airlines and freight forwarders to manage cargo space allocation and resolve operational discrepancies
  • Team up with various departments to enhance air cargo operations and address logistical issues proactively
  • Assess operational efficiency and suggest creative solutions to streamline processes and lower costs

Requirements:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or related disciplines
  • 10 years' experience in air terminal sales/air forwarder procurement/air cargo operations or related functions
  • Solid networking with airlines/air forwarders
  • Familiar with US & EU trades, also the market rate
  • Knowledge in the procurement framework is a plus
  • Good command of English & Mandarin
