Senior Procurement Manager - Operations

Our client is a top industrial manufacturer and they are seeking for a new Senior Procurement manager/ Procurement Director to support their business.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for driving and development of the strategy, policy and execution of the procurement and supply planning operations management with particular focus on copper or metal industry;
• Take lead of a sizeable team of staff and supervise the procurement and sourcing function to meet various requirements;
• Responsible for implementation of vendor management with reporting and analysis and negotiation in furtherance of cost savings and optimisation of vendor mix to meet business needs;
• Ongoing procurement development and enhancement to identify and develop appropriate new sources;
• Work closely with internal project team to meet customer's delivery requests;

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Purchasing, Procurement or related discipline;
• Minimum 10 years or above solid procurement experience.
• Excellent Negotiation and communication skills;
• Result-oriented with strong leadership, good analytical, problem solving skills and able to work under pressure;
• Good command of spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua;
