Central Procurement Manager - IT

Our client is a utilities service provider and they are expanding their internal team. This post will be responsible to implement the central procurement strategies and oversee and lead procurement activities throughout the procurement processes for the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the establishment of the Procurement Department and implement procurement strategies.
• Closely work with stakeholders and optimize the procurement practise on various categories.
• Develop end-to-end procurement processes for the organisation from tendering process, to negotiation with suppliers to achieve the most desirable business and contract terms, to contracting process including administration and post-execution.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance and monitor supplier performance
• Ensure compliance with established procurement policies; develop and enhance policies that are focused on value creation and improving efficiency

Job Requirements:

• University graduate in Supply Chain Management or Procurement or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in end-to-end procurement process.
• Previous procurement experience in IT is a must.
• Demonstrated good interpersonal skills in managing different stakeholders. Good presentation, communication and negotiations skills.
• Highly self-initiatives, problem-solving with strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
