Head of Operation & Development (Cargo Terminal)

Our client stands as a leading player in the air cargo terminal sector, they're looking for a Head of Operation & Development.

Responsibilities:

• Air cargo terminal operations: Understand air cargo/freight operations know-how (day-to-day operational flow), manage the daily operations & propose process improvement solutions
• Strategic planning & project management: Implement cargo development strategies, focusing on identifying new business prospects, engaging stakeholders, conducting feasibility studies, developing solutions, and executing projects
• Market research & strategy: Conduct analysis and monitoring of air cargo market trends and capacity issues to swiftly address identified gaps and seize opportunities, thereby enhancing air network connectivity and diversifying cargo portfolio
• Innovative mindset: Embrace the newest trends in the market and cascade the idea with the solution design to drive the growth
• Stakeholder management & public relation: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders (business partners and public sector like government, etc.) to promote trade and drive initiatives

Requirements:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management or related disciplines. MBA is a plus
• Minimum 12 years' working experience, preferably the streams of operation project management, strategic planning management, etc.
• Operational air cargo background or involvement in air freight operations is a must
• Consulting or starts-up background is favorable to showcase the end-to-end solution design capability
• Career transition in various industries to showcase fast learning capability
• Excellent skills in verbal & written English, Cantonese & Mandarin
